Midwest Energy & Communications reports many power outages in southwestern Michigan

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. – Midwest Energy & Communications or MEC reported over two thousand without power on Saturday afternoon.

MEC said that as of 3:50 p.m., storms and high winds have caused scattered damage throughout southwestern Michigan.

The heavily impacted areas include Constantine, Edwardsburg, Decatur, Keeler, Mottville, Union, and White Pigeon.

MEC reported that workers have been sent to restore power to these areas.
