SOUTH BEND — Monday kicks off political season in South Bend. This year, Indiana's governor will be on hand for Dyngus Day.
The visit will mark Governor Mike Pence's first Dyngus Day in South Bend since his election.
He's expected to take part in a luncheon at the Miller Veteran's Center downtown.
Dyngus Day is also known as Solidarity Day. The tradition started in 1971, with the idea to unite all races.
