Local carwash hosting fundraiser for Big Brother Big Sister program on Saturday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- On Saturday, a local carwash will be hosting a fundraiser for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program of the Southern Lake Michigan Region in Granger.

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters program is a mentoring organization for young boys and girls.

Mike’s Carwash will be donating half of its proceeds of all Ultimate and Works washes sold throughout the day. There will also be donation buckets at all Mike’s Carwash locations to allow customers to contribute personal donations.

In 2021, this event raised over $69,000 to benefit seven local chapters of Big Brothers Big Sisters.

A special appearance from the Notre Dame Leprechaun is expected as well as some other local personalities.

The event will be from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Granger location, 7026 Heritage Square Drive.
