Thursday is mild, dry and breezy. Highs likely will not reach 80 and wind gusts could top 20 mph. Rough surf is likely on Lake Michigan as waves could reach four feet. Heat gradually builds through the weekend. We could be in for a heat wave next week with highs nearing 90 and steamy humidity.

Thursday: Mostly sunny and breezy, high of 78.
Friday: Sunny, high of 82.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, high of 86.
