It’s a cool start to the weekend, but temperatures gradually warm each day through Memorial Day.

This morning we’re starting in the low 40s, so long sleeves or a jacket is the way to go.

Clouds break this morning, and we’ll end with plenty of afternoon sunshine. UV index is high today, Sunday, and Monday, so be sure to stock up on sunscreen before you head outdoors.
Wind gusts up to 25 mph today, which will mean 3-5 feet waves and a red flag at Lake Michigan. Even without the waves, it wouldn’t be the best day for swimming, with lake temperatures in the low 50s today. Better beach days on Sunday and Monday with calming waves and improving temperatures.

Sunday’s high is near 70, with Monday climbing into the mid 70s. We should stay dry for the three day weekend.
The best chance of rain this week is Wednesday and Thursday.
Today: Mostly sunny. Breezy. High 66.
Tonight: Clear skies. Low 40.
Sunday: Sunny. High 70.
Memorial Day: Partly cloudy. High 74.
