Mild, sunny weekend

Plan to spend some time outdoors this weekend – the forecast warms from where we’ve been in the last week. It should stay mostly sunny and dry both Saturday and Sunday. Today we’ll warm into the mid 50s. It will be a little breezy at times, otherwise, a pleasant day.

Notre Dame gameday forecast looks great - even if you aren't heading to the game, it'll be a nice evening to break out the grill at home.

Tonight don’t forget to set your clock back before you go to bed – Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Since we fall back, you will gain an extra hour of sleep.

Overnight is quiet and cool with temperatures falling into the mid 30s. Sunday is even nicer – low 60s by afternoon, making it a perfect time to head to a park to view all the trees’ peak fall colors.

60s stick around on Monday and Tuesday, then cooler and wetter weather arrives for the second half of the week, including the possibility of a few snowflakes Friday.
