Milder outlook for the rest of October

After setting a record Saturday with a high of only 46° and the end of this week calling for below normal temperatures the trend is looking to change for the rest of the month.

Looking at NOAA's mid to long range outlooks, temperatures are expected to stay above seasonal norms for the rest of the month. This does not mean temperatures will be warmer. Since our seasonal normal temperatures for October fall from the mid 60s to the 50s by the end of the month.

This does seem to uphold my forecast for a "long Fall" with prolonged Fall-like temperatures before we see a full transition into Winter.
