Mishawaka Marian student signs with IU Football

A Mishawaka Marian student is set to embark on a new college football career with Indiana University.

Senior Alexander Horvath made his decision between IU and West Point late Tuesday night.

He says regardless of where he chooses, he will be living out a life-long dream to play D1 football.

"I've always had a passion to play football, I've been hoping to make it to D1 and from having either West Point or IU both D1 kind of hard to make a decision but in the end I chose IU. I think the longer commitment at West Point, I wasn't too sure about that but IU I just felt extremely comfortable there when I was on the visit and it just seemed like the school for me,” said Horvath.
