Unique way to memorialize loved ones in Mishawaka city parks

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The Mishawaka Parks and Recreation Department is offering a unique way to honor the lives of loved ones.

Through the Memorial Tree and Bench Program, relatives and friends can provide a special dedication to the memory of the departed with a memorial bench, plaque or tree in one of many parks in the city.

The memorial serves as a living tribute to the memory of loved ones.

Memorials purchased through the program will be placed in a city park at the discretion of the department.
