Mishawaka Police identify 14-year-old killed in Locust Street shooting

MISHAWAKA, Ind. - The Mishawaka Police Department identified the 14-year-old killed in a shooting on Locust Street on Friday.
Devonte Freeman, 14, of South Bend, was found with a gunshot wound inside a home in the 600 block of Locust Street on Friday evening.
Freeman was taken to the hospital where he later died.
At 7 p.m., police were called to the home for a shooting.
No arrests have been made at this time.
The results of the autopsy are still pending.
