Mishawaka Police investigating reports of shots fired at University Park Mall

As of 3:45 p.m. this is no longer an active shooter situation, according to police.
Police have confirmed that shots were fired inside the mall.
St. Joseph County Metro Homicide has taken over the investigation and the Coroner's Office has confirmed that one person is dead.
According to witnesses, the mall is being evacuated as a precaution.
