Megabus expansion connecting South Bend to 24 cities
MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- School City of Mishawaka has released Phase II of its Roadmap to Reopening plan. It includes bringing students back to the classroom by grade level.
Parents will be able to choose from in-person learning or virtual learning for their students.
Parents/guardians will need to fill out a commitment form for each child making a selection of in-person instruction or live virtual learning. The commitment form can be accessed on Skyward.
Students in grades K-6 will return to the classroom beginning September 21.
Students in grades 7-12 will return to school on October 5 and will be divided based on their last name. Students A-L will attend classes Mondays and Tuesdays and alternating Wednesdays. Students M-Z will attend classes Thursdays and Fridays and alternating Wednesdays.
Students who return to the classroom will be required to wearing masks and physical distancing.
Elementary principals will be providing specific plans on September 3.
John Young Middle School and Mishawaka High School reopening plans will be released September 16.
