Mishawaka walkers participate to help find cure

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- They were hitting the pavement in Mishawaka to find a cure for diabetes Sunday morning.
This year marked the 16th annual walk to benefit the Northern Indiana Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Organizers believe they're on the right track to finding a cure for the disease.
The walk was one of more than 200 like it held world-wide. This year's fundraising goal for the Mishawaka walk was $300,000.
