Missing Berrien County woman found dead
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Authorities have confirmed that they have found the body of a woman who was reported missing late Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say Anna Hyszczak’s body was discovered by a kayaker around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon in North Lake in the Grand Mere area.
Myszczak, a 57 year woman from Lincoln Township, was last seen by her husband Tuesday around 1 p.m.
Officials say her family members searched for her in places she frequents, but contacted police when they found her bike along the fence of an old pathway around 5 p.m.
Multiple surrounding departments assisted in the search of Myszczak but the search was halted at dark.
Berrien County Dive Team Deputies recovered her body from the lake and she was then transported to Lakeland St. Joseph.
