Mississippi town picks up after tornado

HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- A small Mississippi community is picking up after a tornado ripped through their town Tuesday.

Hattiesburg has no confirmed deaths after the tornado destroyed nearly the entire town.

The tornado touched down Sunday destroying several homes and businesses.

"We're really blessed that we don't have any fatalities, any confirmed fatalities. So we're doing better than most people would think," said Johnny DePree.

The mayor says they have power crews coming in from the Gulf coast to help.
