WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --- Purdue University President and former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels promised to stay out of politics while working for the university.
But now Daniels has been asked to be on the Board of Directors of the Commission on Presidential Debates.
The Purdue Exponent reports the panel selects locations and moderators for the debates.
Other members are former ABC World News Anchor Charles Gibson and former CIA Director Leon Panetta.
