To kick off this year's Major League Baseball season, all 30 teams plan to start the season by honoring the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting in Connecticut.
The announcement came just days after the New York Yankees said they would dedicate opening day to those impacted by that violence.
Now, all 30 teams will do the same.
Players, managers and all on-field personnel will wear a special ribbon patch with Newtown's seal, a black ribbon and 26 stars—one for each victim.
