MLB's Mattingly stars in hometown production of 'The Nutcracker'

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- Los Angeles Dodgers manager and former Yankees star, Don Mattingly is taking on a new role.

"Donny Baseball” transformed into "Mother Ginger", in a weekend production of "The Nutcracker".

It was in his hometown, of Evansville, Indiana.

Mattingly didn't have to do too much acting on stage, but he did ad-lib in a few baseball-style moves in.
