LANSING, Mich. -- Monday is the last day for Michigan residents to register to vote in the primary elections by mail or online.
Michiganders can register to vote by mail or online by 8 p.m. on Monday for the elections happening on August 2.
In addition, residents are asked to return their absentee ballot by mail by Monday in order to avoid potential mailing delays.
The last day to request an absentee ballot by mail or online is Friday, July 29.
Voters can register to vote in person at their local county clerk's office up until election day at 8 p.m.
