Moped accident in Cass County

MILTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A Niles man is recovering at home tonight after he crashed his moped.
It happened just after 3:00 a.m. Saturday morning on Gumwood Road in Milton Township.
Police say 44 year old David Shafer ran off the road, lost control in the gravel, and flipped his moped.
He was taken to Memorial Hospital.
He has since been treated and released.
