Moped crash on County Road 4 sends driver to hospital

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department responded to a moped crash early Sunday morning.
The crash happened around 9:45 a.m. in the eastbound lane of County Road 4 just west of County Road 7.
48-year-old Sonya Frazier of Elkhart drove off of the south side of the roadway.
Frazier crashed into a yard at a residence off County Road 4.
She was transported to Elkhart General Hospital after the crash.
Frazier suffered a laceration on the top of her head and road rash to her arms, legs, and back.
There was front end damage to the moped.
