Moped driver seriously injured in crash

ELKHART, Ind. -- A moped driver was seriously injured when his moped struck a trash can, according to Elkhart Police.
On Monday, 44-year-old Victor Rodriguez was driving his new moped near E. Bristol and Pine Ridge Court when the moped went off the road and struck a trash can.
Rodriguez was taken to Memorial Hospital for potentially life threatening injuries, according to police.
