This evening scattered thunderstorms will impact Michiana. A few of those storms could turn severe with all hazards possible. There is a tornado watch in effect for all of Michiana until 8pm this evening. All the ingredients needed for tornado development are present, but overall the threat remains low. As we get into the late evening hours the storm potential will diminish. Tomorrow afternoon more scattered thunderstorms are possible, but the severe threat remains very low, especially in comparison to today. Next week we are still seeing more rain and thunderstorm activity in the forecast. The flooding potential will continue as well. Temperatures throughout the weekend and into next week look to stay in the mid 80s.
