ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast

Saturday, March 7, 2026

Yesterday's storms and tornadoes caused significant damage to Southwest/ Southcentral Michigan counties. The NWS is planning to begin storm surveying today—starting in the Union City area, then moving to Three Rivers, then Edwardsburg. We will continue to provide updates as they are given.

This morning, we are expecting another round of showers and storms to move through the area, beginning around 6AM. Isolated strong or severe storms are possible. While the threat for severe weather is low, hail and gusty winds about 50 mph are possible. After the AM storms, a cold front will sweep through cooling temperatures, accompanied by rain through the early afternoon. We will reach our high temperatures, in the 60s, early in the day, but temperatures will cool through the afternoon and evening. Lows tonight will reach the 30s.

Sunday is fair but breezy, and fair conditions last through Monday as highs climb to the 70s to start the week. Pleasant weather will be short lived, as there is another threat for storms on Tuesday PM into Wednesday. Temperatures cool by the end of next week, bringing back the potential for snow by the weekend.

Tonight: Cool, Mostly cloudy, breezy. Low 36.
