Mother of former ND basketball player used job to see son play

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The mother of a former Notre Dame basketball player only wanted to see her son play.

But it is how she paid for those trips that is getting her into trouble.

Tami Hansbrough, the mother of former Irish basketball guard Ben Hansbrough, has resigned from her position as a school fundraiser for the University of North Carolina.

School officials say she charged personal trips to see Ben play to UNC's accounts.
