Motorcycle collision claims life of man Saturday

The Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department is investigating a car crash that claimed the life of a North Manchester man Saturday night.

Deputies responded Saturday night around 9:48 p.m. to a motorcycle and pickup accident crash near the intersection of State Road 15 and County Road 350 South.

The pickup truck driver was driving east on CR 350 South, then turned north onto SR 15 into the path of Gable's motorcycle, according to the sheriff's department.

The motorcycle, driven by 51-year-old Jeff Gable, collided with the pickup truck.

Upon arrival, the Kosciusko County Coroner pronounced Gable deceased.

The pickup truck driver was not injured. His passenger was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
