SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One man is recovering after his motorcycle crashed into a car.
It happened just after 7 Wednesday night at the intersection of Notre Dame Avenue and LaSalle.
Police say the motorcycle hit the back driver's side of a Sedan. Friends of the crash victim tell ABC57 News he's doing alright, but the situation was unnerving.
“Any accident is scary, but when it is someone you know and you ride, then yes it’s real scary,” said Franklin Fielder.
The motorcycle rider was taken to Memorial Hospital with a few cuts and scrapes. The driver of that Sedan was not hurt.
Police say it's possible the setting sun was to blame for the crash.
