Motorcyclist and horse injured in 3 vehicle crash

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A motorcyclist and a horse were injured in a three vehicle crash Friday afternoon, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the three vehicle crash at the intersection of CR 1350 N and CR 950 Friday at 3:24 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed 75-year-old James Gluckin was traveling southbound on CR 950 W when he pulled into the path of a Honda Civic traveling westbound on CR 1350 N.

Gluckin's motorcycle also struck an eastbound horse and buggy, reports said.

The collision caused minor injuries to the horse and damaged the buggy, deputies said.

Gluckin was taken to the hospital by helicopter for a possible broken leg.
