Motorcyclist in critical condition following crash

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. – A motorcyclist is in critical condition following a crash in Wayne Township on Tuesday night, the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office reported.

At 9:03 p.m., deputies were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision on C.R. 250 South, east of S.R. 25.

According to a preliminary investigation, the motorcyclist, a 22-year-old from Winona Lake, was traveling westbound on C.R. 250 South on a Yamaha motorcycle.

Investigators do not know the exact circumstances of the collision but the motorcycle was laid over and slid along the roadway surface, reports said.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the Yamaha and sustained head injuries, deputies said. He was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition.
