Motorcyclist leads police on high speed pursuit in Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. – A motorcyclist led officers on a high speed pursuit in Goshen Saturday evening.

According to Goshen police, at approximately 5:21 p.m. officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a motorcyclist on Madison Street.

Officers say the motorcyclist, 30-year-old Mark Warford of Elkhart, Indiana led police on a high speed pursuit.

The pursuit ended when Warford crashed his motorcycle at the intersection of 3rd Street and Lincoln Avenue, police say.

Warford suffered injuries to his head and body. He was taken to Goshen General Hospital and a short time later was transported to South Bend Memorial for non-life threatening head injuries.

The Elkhart County Prosecutors Office has filed paperwork, according to officials.
