Multiple cars collide on SR 15 in Elkhart County
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – A crash Sunday morning on SR 15 in Elkhart County involved four vehicles and minor injuries, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.
A crash on SR 15 began with one vehicle and resulted in multiple collisions involving four separate vehicles.
The Sheriff’s Office reports that a man driving a 2013 Chevy Silverado was traveling south on SR 15, slowing down behind the driver of a 2017 Nissan Sentra.
A woman driving a third vehicle, a 2015 Toyota Camry, was stopped on SR 15 heading south of CR 20 waiting to turn left.
The driver of the Silverado rear ended the Sentra when coming to a stop, which pushed the vehicle forward, causing a collision into the Camry, reports said.
The man driving the Silverado then drove left of the center lane and into the north bound lane, crashing into the front end of a 2008 Chrysler Sebring driven by a fourth driver.
The fourth driver was taken to Goshen General Hospital for complaints of pain in her left arm, chest and collar bone.
