Multiple injuries sustained in Grape Road crash
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—St. Joseph County FACT said Wednesday that a crash on Grape Road on June 11 resulted in multiple injuries.
On Tuesday around 5:42 p.m., the Mishawaka Police Department responded to a crash on Grape Road, just north of Cleveland.
An Ilantra, driven by a 32-year-old male, allegedly pulled out of a liquor store parking lot on the east side of Grape Road and drove into the path of an Accord driven by an 18-year-old male. The Accord then struck the Ilantra.
The driver of the Ilantra suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries and as of Wednesday evening, remained in the hospital.
A 15-year-old female passenger in the Accord suffered a badly broken leg, according to FACT.
Per protocol, St. Joseph County FACT is handling the investigation, which remains ongoing.
