Prayer vigil held for domestic violence victim in South Bend
NAPPANEE, Ind. -- Miriam Hartman, a Nappanee resident helping organize a fundraising event benefiting Bashor Children's Home, stopped by to chat with ABC57's Summer Horan about the benefit.
Several Nappanee churches will come together to support efforts to fight human trafficking locally.
The event is on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. and will include an all-you-can-eat haystack dinner plus an Amish bake sale.
Organizers ask for donations with all proceeds going to Bashor Children's Home Human Trafficking Treatment Program for Survivors.
The event will be at Nappanee Church of the Brethren, which is located at 301 Mack Dr. in Nappanee.
