Multiple vehicle accident closes US20 Sunday

ELKHART, Ind. --- U.S 20 and CR 21 were closed due to an accident Sunday according to police.
Officers say a car driven by 21-year-old Devin Jewel of Elkhart crossed the center line while heading eastbound on U.S 20. near CR21.
He hit a car head-on, causing two other vehicles behind that car to rear-end each other.
Police say Jewel was taken to Memorial Hospital by MedFlight with life-threatening internal injuries.
One other driver and a 5-year-old passenger were taken to Elkhart General for life-threatening injuries as well.
