Murder suspect brought back to South Bend

Murder suspect Erique Raggs waived extradition and is now in the St. Joseph County Jail.

Raggs, 24, is accused of shooting Tony Shead and Dorothy Tyler on September 14 on Calvert Street in South Bend. Shead died at the hospital.

Raggs was taken into custody in Cook County, Illinois on October 21.

Raggs will be arraigned November 5 at 1 p.m.

He faces one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and one count of aggravated battery.
