Nappanee driver strikes tree

NAPPANEE, Ind. — A driver is in the hospital after he hit a tree in Nappanee. The accident happened on County Road 100.
The vehicle's passenger side tires popped, causing the driver to lose control of the car. He then struck a tree.
The driver was was taken to Elkhart General Hospital but is expected to be okay.
The crash is still under investigation.
