Nappanee man in very critical condition following moped crash

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- A Nappanee man is in very critical condition at this hour.
Police said he lost control of his moped in Kosciusko County while driving along County Road 800 West.
At this point, officers are not sure exactly how 47-year-old Jimmy Coates crashed.
He was airlifted to the hospital on Saturday night.
Police said he was not wearing a helmet.
