Nathan Woessner's older brother talks about rescue

Six-year-old Nathan Woessner's older brother is talking about the moments he tried to save his brother from a sand sinkhole at the Indiana Dunes.

Jake Reul talked about the rescue at his church Sunday.

He told members how he desperately tried to dig his brother out, not knowing he was under 11 feet of sand.

"I was digging with my hands and, once the shovels started getting there, I started digging with shovels.  And then, they just had us back up," said Reul.

Jake says he is so thankful for all those who helped him dig Nathan out.

According to the family, Nathan is expected to be released from the hospital soon.
