Nationally known comedian headlining annual comedy fundraiser for Elkhart County
Church Community Services / Mike Vecchione GOSHEN, Ind. -- Church Community Services is bringing back its "Stand Up for CCS" annual comedy fundraiser Saturday at the Goshen Theater, featuring returning local radio host and performer Corey Mann and headlined by national comedian Mike Vecchione.
The annual comedy show supports CCS programs like the Food Pantry and Soup of Success programs, job training, and financial support services, and tickets can be purchased online, starting at $35.
Vecchione has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Comedy Central, alongside being a regular performer at comedy clubs across the nation.
“As comedians, our job is to help people forget their stress for a little while and laugh together, " said Vecchione. “Knowing this event also supports CCS continuing to serve people in need throughout Elkhart County makes the night even more meaningful.”
"Stand Up for CCS," at the Goshen Theater at 216 S. Main Street, will open at 6:30 p.m., and the show begins at 7:30 p.m.
