National Weather Service issues flood alerts for Michiana, roads close

The National Weather Service issued flood watches, warnings and advisories across Michiana on Wednesday, with some in effect for multiple days.

Pulaski, Marshall, Starke, Elkhart LaGrange, La Porte, St. Joseph, and Kosciusko counties in Indiana were all under one of the flood alerts. Click here for updated alerts for Indiana.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office issued a road closure for 200 N from 900 E to 1100 E due to high water on Wednesday.

According to INDOT, SR-10 in Marshall County was closed on Wednesday morning between US-31 and SR-331 due to flooding at Deer Creek. It is unknown when the road will reopen. 

The City of Goshen said Wednesday that the 100 blocks of both Chicago Ave. and Huron St. were closed due to high water.
