SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- NBA guard and South Bend native Blake Wesley held a free youth basketball clinic.

Although rainy weather filled the day, kids and families still came out to learn and enjoy some basketball at the Martin Luther King Jr. Dream Center.

"For me to be here is very special for me and the kids, and for the community too. I love being here. I love giving back to the community. Love seeing kids smile, happy playing basketball," said Wesley.

The Wesley Legacy Foundation and Herbalife hosted this event to provide young athlete ages 7-17 with hands-on basketball instructions, mentorship, and resources focused on sports nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

The event also featured basketball drills, skills stations and competitive play
