ND hockey player Joe Rogers wins Terry Flanagan Award

Notre Dame junior goal tender Joe Rogers is the recipient of a prestigious award.

Rogers was selected as the winner of the CCHA's Terry Flanagan Award for perseverance, dedication and courage.

Rogers was born with an underdeveloped right hand that keeps him from closing his catching glove all the way.

Despite the obstacles, rogers has learned to catch the puck, helping him play hockey at a division one level.
