NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Notre Dame basketball star Bonzie Colson continues to rack up preseason accolades.
The senior forward has been named to the Associated Press Preseason All-America team. He was the second-leading vote-getter on the five-person team and a consensus pick.
Colson was also named one of 32 players in contention for the Oscar Robertson Award, given to the nation's best player by the United States Basketball Writers Association.
Meanwhile, the time will wrap up exhibition season Tuesday night. The Fighting Irish take on Cardinal Stritch University (Milwaukee) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Purcell Pavilion. To buy tickets to the game, click here.
So far, the Irish are a perfect 2-0 in the exhibition season with wins over Holy Cross College and Bethel College.
The team will begin the regular season on Saturday against DePaul University in Chicago.
