The Notre Dame men’s basketball team is riding a 5-game winning streak and is preparing to take on the Clemson Tigers tomorrow night at Purcell Pavilion.
The game will be the first game with students back on campus.
Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey is preparing his team to take on a tough opponent in the Clemson Tigers
And now that the students are back on campus, Brey visited the dining halls to pump up students and hand out free tickets for Wednesday night’s matchup at Purcell Pavilion.
Brey jokingly admits to his own craziness and excitement to see the packed stands at home games.
“I think we’re going to have a good Brey said. “I didn’t fall off either dining hall table. The directors were a little nervous when I stood up on the table and blew my whistle. And a couple professors looked at me and said ‘that guy is really nuts.’ And they’re probably right in January I am.”
Tipoff Wednesday night is 7 p.m. as the Fighting Irish look to keep their winning streak alive.
