SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey has made it clear: his young team will have to learn as it goes, and will have to grow up quick.
They continued a big stretch of five tough tests, this time hosting Illinois on Tuesday for the Big Ten ACC Challenge.
After a game where both teams put together big runs, the Irish prevailed after a last-second shot went in and out for the Illini.
Notre Dame won 76-74. See the action above!
