ND student athletes No. 1 in academic progress rate

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- Once again athletes at Notre Dame are ranked among the smartest in the nation.
The Fighting Irish were No. 1 once again among 120 other programs in the NCAA’s academic progress rate.
Seventeen Irish athletic teams scored in the top 10, including lacrosse, basketball and ice hockey.
