ELKHART, Ind -- Multiple neighborhoods in Elkhart get hit strong winds, causing power outages and tree damage.
After spending the weekend cleaning debris from last week's storm, residents saw even more damage this morning.
This time, the damage got hold of Elkhart General Hospital, who went without power until late this morning.
Causing them to use their emergency power backup.
Severe damage took place along Lawn and Massachusetts Avenue, where the intersection was blocked due to fire lines.
Homes in the neighborhood have been without since Sunday evening, when the strong winds caused a tree branch to knock out the main power line for the neighborhood.
The area is expected to have the power lines repaired by tomorrow evening at 11 p.m. according to Indiana Michigan Power.
