Neighbors help to extinguish Bristol house fire

BRISTOL, Ind. — A fire at a home in Bristol broke out just before 1 p.m. Saturday.

Neighbors told ABC57 they were eating lunch when they saw smoke coming out of the back of a home on Farmwood Drive.

A neighbor from each side of the home got out their hoses to help extinguish the back deck.

The family who lives inside was in South Bend at the time.

The neighbors' quick action helped to stopthe fire from spreading.
