Neighbors react to most recent South Bend shooting

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Several neighbors watched nervously at the scene of the shooting.  Neighbors in this South Bend neighborhood say crime is on the rise and they are starting to feel unsafe.  

"It's very violent and scary, it seems like there are more robberies here than anything," says G Johnson. 

"It's senseless, it's happening too close to home.  Very small kids around here, and it's not even hot out yet.  I'm thinking about selling our house and moving," says Cory Mayes.  

Police have now handed the investigation over to the metro homicide unit.
