New Carlisle man spearheads tornado relief project

NEW CARLISLE, Ind. -- Remember the owner of Lookin' Good Construction who was headed to Henryville to help tornado victims?

These photos are from Gary Lawson who drove the truck to Scottsburg and is going back down again.

The goal was to fill one truck, but they got so many donations they were able to fill two!

The first truck went down on Thursday. Gary will be driving the second truck down there early this Saturday at 2 a.m.

Four tons of food, first aid supplies, and lots of clothing were collected to help tornado victims.

The one photo inside a house is what a church in Noblesville donated. He picked those items up on the way.

Lawson was told by the people of Scottsburg that they are now asking for things like peroxide, antibiotic ointment, Tylenol, mouthwash, tarps, and nails.

You can drop off donations at the following locations:
  • Lookin’ Good Construction  8913 East US Highway 20, New Carlisle, IN 46552
